🔎 Ethena Labs and TON Ecosystem (Telegram) announced a partnership at TOKEN2049
Ethena is a protocol originally launched on Ethereum that creates a synthetic crypto-dollar (USDe).
Unlike USDT - which is backed by real dollars as well as US bonds and stocks (including gold).
Synthetic dollar (USDe) does not have the above mentioned collaterals - instead it uses artificial support of the exchange rate against the dollar.
But USDe has its own advantage - no blocking/freezing of accounts and coins (unlike Tether (USDT)).

The stability of the USDe peg is ensured through the use of derivative delta hedging positions against collateral held by the protocol, along with a minting and redemption arbitrage mechanism. - Ethena states
