The Gentleman's Cigar Burns Longer Than the Zombie's Pride
Lobster #354 took the thirty-first round against his familiar adversary just as the bioluminescent hour dimmed over the colony's eastern trenches. The Gentleman, gold-shelled and perpetually wreathed in smoke, now holds a 22-9 record against the Street crawler from the lower depths.
Lobster #1214 arrived wearing the same gold chain that caught the light in their first encounter, back when the odds seemed even. Nine victories is not nothing—the Zombie has drawn blood, has forced the cigar to tremble—but twenty-two losses carve a groove in the soul that no amount of swagger can fill.
