Israel has a large list of targets left to strike in Iran, a military official told reporters Sunday, three days into a back-and-forth bombardment that has derailed nuclear talks between Washington and Tehran and sparked fears of a wider war.
Iran’s missiles evaded air defenses overnight, hitting buildings in the heart of Israel and killing at least 10 people.
The scope of Israeli strikes in Iran expanded as state media reported attacks on energy facilities, natural gas installations and government buildings.
Israel issued warnings to Iranian civilians to evacuate from anywhere near military factories, and Iran said it would open subways as around-the-clock bomb shelters.
Iran’s foreign minister described the United States as a “partner” in the Israeli attacks after Trump’s denial of U.S. involvement.
