👌 The Moduluc discord published an announcement describing the new product named Orshare, which is a Decentralized Computing Network designed to provide scalable infrastructure for next-generation digital experiences.
As a separate project outside Moduluc, Orshare is designed to meet the growing demand for flexible, high-performance computing across various fields, from high-fidelity virtual worlds to AI-driven platforms.
It's really exciting to talk about what we have kept as a top-secret project for a very long time. Orshare is still evolving—some parts are ready, like the Orshare Game Node (OGN), which has passed initial testing (DEMO SOON!), while others are under development or part of our longer-term roadmap.
Below is an overview of Orshare's planned product lineup.
Orshare Product Lineup:
Orshare Game Node (OGN): The Orshare Game Node (OGN) is designed to deliver high-performance game streaming and virtual experiences with low latency. It has already undergone initial testing and is being prepared to power platforms like EXPOCITI, providing seamless photorealistic interactions across devices.
Orshare Compute Node (OCN): Being developed to handle demanding workloads such as AI inferences and data processing. Our AI-driven products, starting with Blinx, will gradually integrate with Orshare as the infrastructure matures.
Orshare RAG Node (ORN): A work-in-progress node optimized for tasks like rapid data retrieval and augmented generation, with future applications in AI-driven operations.
Orshare Workstation Node (OWN): Planned to offer tailored and personal cloud environments for developers, creatives, and researchers working on tasks like 3D rendering, AI experiments, and complex development projects.
We have built a world-class cross-platform software - Orshare Node Manager - designed to onboard any non-techy individual to join the network and benefit from multi-faceted hosting opportunities (AI, Gaming, RAG...) with one click on any operating system!
Why Orshare?
Orshare is a distinct project but complements platforms like EXPOCITI by enabling high-fidelity metaverse experiences to be streamed directly through web browsers, potentially removing the need for high-end user hardware and facilitating mass adoption.
But that’s not all. Blinx and other AI-driven platforms will be early adopters of Orshare's distributed computing power, benefiting from its decentralized infrastructure for scalable AI inferences. Additionally, Bloxiti and Univerce, while currently web2 products, are positioned for mass adoption (close to being released on Steam and Epic Games Store), and Orshare will provide the infrastructure they need to operate efficiently on a global scale.
⚠️ And of course, we’re integrating $MODUL as the native currency for Orshare, ensuring seamless transactions across all our decentralized services and incentivizing participation in the network.
We have been here long enough, but this seems like the beginning of something massive. Arguably, Orsahre will be one of the few cloud computing platforms with guaranteed long-term customers and a very clear path toward monetization. As we continue to develop Orshare, early access will soon be opened for those interested in shaping the platform with us.
