LA protests: Gavin Newsom to sue Trump?
California Governor Gavin Newsom says he’s planning on filing a lawsuit against President Donald Trump in response to his decision to deploy the National Guard in Los Angeles to confront the protesters.
“Commandeering a state’s National Guard without consulting the Governor of that state is illegal and immoral,” Newsom, a Democrat, told MSNBC on Sunday.
